ASICS Gel-Kayano 20 'Aurora Green / Watermelon' (2026)

Regular price $485.00 Sale price $270.00 Taxes included.Shipping calculated at checkout.
Description

The ASICS Gel-Kayano 20 'Aurora Green / Watermelon' (2026) is the most vibrant expression of one of the year's defining sneaker reissues. Officially catalogued as White/Aurora Green under style code 1203A388-105 — and nicknamed "Watermelon" by the sneaker community for its juicy pairing of mint green and pink — the release returns the 2013 stability icon to shelves at the height of the Gel-Kayano 20's global resurgence. Originally engineered as a premium long-distance stability runner, the Kayano 20 has re-emerged in 2026 as a fixture of contemporary rotations, prized for the technical, architecture-inspired design language that sets it apart from slimmer retro runners.

Overview
Built on a breathable engineered mesh base in crisp white, the sneaker layers synthetic and TPU overlays across the upper, with vivid Aurora Green and watermelon-pink accents running through its panelling, branding, and sole unit. ASICS' FluidFit™ upper technology delivers a glove-like, adaptive fit, reinforced by a criss-cross TPU cage that targets key support zones, while signature GEL™ cushioning in both the forefoot and rearfoot absorbs impact for all-day comfort. A supportive midsole and structured heel keep the ride stable — the DNA that made the Kayano line a benchmark in stability running — now recast for everyday styling. The colourway's fresh, summery palette has made it one of the most sought-after Gel-Kayano 20 releases of 2026, equally at home with performance-inspired fits or elevated casual wardrobes. Every pair is authenticated by hand at PUSHAS, so you can shop with confidence.

Key Highlights

• Official White/Aurora Green Colourway (1203A388-105): The registered ASICS colourway behind the community's "Watermelon" nickname, blending a clean white base with mint-green and pink accents.
• Heritage Stability Silhouette: First released in 2013, the Gel-Kayano 20 introduced FluidFit™ construction and remains one of ASICS' most celebrated technical designs.
• Signature GEL™ Cushioning: Forefoot and rearfoot GEL™ units deliver the plush, shock-absorbing ride the Kayano franchise is known for.
• 2026 Reissue Momentum: Part of the Gel-Kayano 20's headline return — one of the most in-demand ASICS lifestyle stories of the year.

WHY OUR PRICES

The honest answer. The question we hear most: how can you sell the same sneakers for so much less? Here's the full, transparent breakdown — not a marketing line.

Where your money goes

At a boutique — $400

$400
  • The shoe itself ~15–25%
  • Flagship store rent overhead
  • Global advertising overhead
  • Celebrity partnerships overhead
  • Multi-layer distribution overhead

At Sole Dept

Below retail
  • The shoe itself what you pay for
  • Boutique rent removed
  • Advertising levy removed
  • Celebrity premium removed
  • Intermediary margins removed

Why we can do it

Production cost

The materials, construction and labour in a quality pair are a fraction of the boutique price. The rest is overhead and brand premium.

The retail mark-up

Brands add huge mark-ups to fund advertising, flagship stores and distribution across dozens of countries — you pay for all of it, whether you want to or not.

The Sole Dept difference

We source directly through authorised wholesale channels. Lean operating costs, and every dollar saved is passed to you at checkout.

PACKAGING & WHATS INCLUDED

Every pair arrives complete. When your order lands, it looks and feels exactly the way it should — the full retail presentation, nothing stripped out. Here's precisely what comes in the box.

What's in every order

📦

Original branded box

Each pair ships in its correct branded shoe box with the matching size label and SKU — the same box the silhouette is meant to come in, protected inside an outer shipping carton so it arrives crush-free.

👟

Complete original packaging

Tissue paper, silica packs, the branded wrapping and inserts that shape the shoe in transit — all present, just as you'd expect from a boutique unboxing.

🧺

Dust bags

Where the model is issued with dust bags, they're included — ideal for storing your pair, keeping it clean between wears, and travelling with it.

🎀

Extras & spares

Spare laces, alternate lace colours, replacement parts and any accessories that ship with the original — included in the box exactly as intended.

Free gift with every order

On top of the full packaging, every Sole Dept order includes a complimentary free gift as a thank-you — a small extra tucked in the box, on us.

The complete checklist

  • Original branded shoe box
  • Correct size & SKU label
  • Tissue paper & inserts
  • Dust bag(s), where issued
  • Spare / alternate laces
  • Included accessories & spares
  • Protective outer shipping carton
  • Complimentary free gift

Why it matters

Gift-ready

Because the presentation is complete, every order is ready to gift straight out of the mailer — no repackaging needed.

Protected in transit

Box-in-a-box shipping means your pair travels the way it should and reaches you in the same condition it left us.

Keeps its value

Complete original packaging, dust bags and extras help your pair hold its condition — and its resale appeal — for the long run.

Have a question about what's included with a specific pair? Email us at help@soledept.com and we'll confirm before you order.

RETURNS

We want you to love what you ordered. If something is not right — the fit, the style, or something we got wrong on our end — we will work with you to resolve it.

Return Window

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, shoes must be:

  • Unworn — no signs of wear on the sole, upper, or insole
  • In their original box and packaging
  • In the same condition as received, with any tags or protective materials intact

Shoes that have been worn outdoors, show signs of use, or are returned without their original packaging cannot be accepted.

How to Start a Return

Email us at help@soledept.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will respond within 24 hours with return instructions and the address to ship to. Do not send anything back before receiving confirmation from us.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item received was incorrect or arrived damaged through our fault. We recommend using a tracked shipping method — we cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit without proof of postage.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a further 3 to 5 business days to reflect the credit. You will receive a confirmation email when the refund is issued.

Exchanges

If you need a different size, we are happy to exchange where stock is available. Contact us before returning so we can check availability and hold the replacement while your return is in transit.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a pair that is faulty, damaged, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. We will arrange a prepaid return and either replace the item or issue a full refund — your choice.

Questions

For anything related to a return or refund, reach us at help@soledept.com and we will respond within 24 hours.

Size Guide

Sneakers fit differently across brands and silhouettes. Convert your size below, then check the brand notes for fit tips. Between sizes? We recommend sizing up.

  2. Measure to the tip of your longest toe in centimetres.
  3. Measure both feet late in the day and use the larger one.
